Health Sensing Setup

    This car is equipped with a system to detect health emergencies.

    If a health incidence is detected, we will contact emergency authorities. To do so, we analyze your body position and facial expressions with a video camera.

  • Privacy 😶🌫

    The system uses on-device algorithms that run fully local. No camera data leaves the vehicle. The algorithms use body key points, to understand health conditions. The raw camera image is never utilized.

  • Emergency call 🆘

    If a health emergency is detected, we will inform authorities via the emergency call system. In the rare case of a false positive alarm, you can abort the call.

    With your consent the health monitoring system will be activated. You can defer the decision and activate it at a later moment from the settings. For more information refer to the manual.

    By default the system uses on-device algorithms that run fully local. We aim to extend the service new capabilities and to improve the accuracy of it. To do so we need data.
